Sadhana Puntambekar is Sears-Bascom professor in Educational Psychology and directs the Interactive Design and Learning Lab (ILDL). She is a Fellow of the International Society for the Learning Sciences in recognition of her significant contributions to the field of the Learning Sciences. She has served as a Co-Editor of the American Journal of Educational Research from 2015-2019, and an Associate Editor of the Journal of Learning Science for the Design-Based Research strand. Her work on scaffolding students’ learning and Design-Based Research are widely recognized. Her work has been published in reputed journals in the field such the Journal of the Learning Sciences, Educational Psychologist and Instructional Science. She has successfully served as PI on several federally funded research projects.
