Valerie Von Bargen

Valerie von Bargen is a student in the School Psychology EdS program. She earned her BS in Psychology and certificate in Education & Educational Services from UW-Madison in 2020. Throughout her undergraduate career, she provided ABA services for children with autism, provided respite care for children and young adults with developmental disabilities, instructed youth dance classes, educated peers regarding violence prevention, and she studied childhood trauma and resiliency as a research assistant. She is particularly interested in how she can use a trauma-informed perspective to best serve students who are culturally and linguistically diverse and students with autism spectrum disorders.
