Maria Szalkowski
Maria Szalkowski is a graduate student in the School Psychology EdS program. She received her BA degree from UW Madison. Maria was a research assistant in the Learning and Transfer Lab where she conducted research on multi-tasking and executive function as well as a research assistant in the Child Emotion lab where she worked with children and families to research how childhood stress influenced decision making. Maria also served as an AmeriCorps member providing literacy support to elementary students in Madison. Maria is interested in social emotional learning, school equity, and crisis response.
