Marie-Laure Mbi

Marie-Laure Mbi is a graduate student in the School Psychology EdS program. She received her BS degree in Psychology with a minor in Chemistry at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. In her undergraduate years, she worked as a research assistant in a lab that examined the neural and behavioral mechanisms in individuals with neurological disorders. Prior to graduate school, she worked as a mental health technician at a psychiatric crisis center where she served children and adolescents with acute intellectual, mental, and behavioral disorders. Her research interests include culturally responsive interventions in schools, school mental health, and social-emotional learning.
