Lauren Knuckey

Lauren Knuckey is a doctoral student in the School Psychology program. She attended Luther College in Decorah, IA and received her BA in neuroscience and Spanish with a minor in environmental studies. After graduating, she worked as a student engagement specialist in a psychiatric treatment center in Denver, CO where she became interested in trauma-informed care within school systems. Lauren’s research interests include student mental health programming and culturally responsive practices, especially in the context of teacher, family, and community collaboration.
