Sahian Cruz
Sahian Cruz is a doctoral student in the School Psychology program. Previously, she studied Psychology and French at the University of Washington, where she participated in the Ronald E. McNair Post-Baccalaureate Achievement Program while working in tutoring and after-school childcare. Her research interests focus on the promotion of resilience and empowerment for minoritized student groups and their families through collaboration with educational stakeholders. Sahian works with Dr. Garbacz on the Teachers and Parents as Partners project as well as with Dr. Quintana on the Centro Hispano grant partnership. She is also involved with the School Mental Health Collaborative (SMHC).
